The online DOMP program has the same content as the one offered in-person. However the in-person program offers up to 4 months of clinical internship at NAO teaching clinic. For online students there are two weeks of practical osteopathy technique classes available at our campus in Toronto. The practical classes are optional for international students. The online students in Canada however must take the two weeks practical as it is mandatory for them. Online DOMP graduates also have the option to take the NAO Bridge Program (clinical internship program) under direct supervision of an NAO approved clinician across Canada).
the online manual osteopathy program we offer is fully accredited by the Council on Manual Osteopathy Education of the International Osteopathic Association and the US Council on Osteopathic Manual Practice Education of the American Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners.
Our online graduated manual osteopaths who complete the NAO Bridge Program (which includes the two weeks practical) are eligible to join many insurance approved associations including the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths (Canada) that awards them the title of RMO (Registered Manual Osteopath) which is accepted by most private health insurers across Canada.
In the United States the online DOMP graduates who have completed the NAO Bridge Program can join the American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners which permits them to work in all 50 states as an osteopathic manual practitioner.
