BIG NEWS FOR NAO & THE MANUAL OSTEOPATHY PROFESSION IN THE UNITED STATES!

I am very happy to announce that after nearly a year of work, the National Academy of Osteopathy (NAO) has received approval for our U.S. investment visa!

This was not a simple process. We invested more than $30,000 in legal and accounting expenses and made a substantial investment of over $1.2 Millions into our U.S. business operations to reach this important milestone.

But for us, this is about much more than a visa.

It is another step toward expanding the presence of osteopathic manual practice in the United States.

Our long-term goal is to help ensure that people across the United States have greater access to non-surgical, hands-on approaches to chronic pain management provided by qualified osteopathic manual practitioners.

This approval gives us a stronger foundation to expand NAO’s presence in the United States, invest further in education and professional development, create new opportunities, build relationships, and support the growth and recognition of the profession.

Most importantly, having a stronger physical and business presence in the United States allows us to do something that is difficult to accomplish from outside the country: be there, participate, build relationships, invest, educate, advocate for the profession, and help create opportunities for our graduates and other qualified practitioners.

NAO was founded in Canada in 2010 with a dream of making osteopathic education more accessible. Sixteen years later, our journey continues, and the United States represents an important part of our next chapter.

There is still much work ahead of us. This approval is not the finish line. It gives us another tool to continue building.

Our dream is BIG: to help make osteopathic manual practice more accessible across the United States and to help qualified practitioners build successful careers while providing much-needed care to people living with chronic pain.

One more door has opened.

Dream Big. Take Action.
