What a journey it has been!
Sixteen years ago, National Academy of Osteopathy (NAO) was created simply to train manual osteopaths for a franchise clinic. We started with just a handful of students, no insurance coverage, and a completely cash-based profession.
Today, over 100 students attended NAO this term for practical and on-site classes at our York University Heights campus in Toronto. Our graduates can now join TELUS e-Claims for direct billing and work with all major insurers, including Canada Life and Manulife.
From those humble beginnings, NAO has grown to become the world’s largest provider of manual osteopathic education, with thousands of graduates across Canada, the United States, and around the world.
