19 Jun NAO (Canada) Opening a Campus in Florida!
The National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada) is in the process of opening a branch in Florida to provide hands-on training to our American students. As previously announced, NAO has signed an exclusive agreement to serve as the sole provider of manual osteopathic education in the United States for massage therapists working at a multi-state franchised massage therapy clinic.
This partnership, valued at approximately $20 million over the next five years, guarantees that all massage therapists employed by the clinic will receive their manual osteopathic training exclusively from NAO. The objective is to expand the clinic’s services beyond massage therapy to include osteopathic manual practice, elevating the quality and range of care available to clients.
This expansion became possible after we successfully secured an agreement making the Registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (ROMP) designation a mandatory requirement for obtaining a GEHA license in the United States.
This level of oversight and professional supervision enhances public safety and gives companies and educational institutions the confidence to invest in manual osteopathy.
I foresee a bright and promising future for manual osteopathy in the United States!
