21 May NAO President Appointed to GEHA Board
National Academy of Osteopathy president, Dr Shawn Pourgol has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Guardian Ecclesiastical Holistic Association (GEHA) in Florida by Dr. Nicole Kimmel.
GEHA is a membership-based organization that provides licensing for wellness practitioners in Florida and other U.S. states. It offers a path for qualified osteopathic manual practitioners and naprapaths to practice legally as wellness professionals, delivering manual osteopathy and naprapathy care under the title of “LEHP”.
In his role, Dr Pourgol is responsible for evaluating and approving manual osteopathic educational institutions. Graduates of the National Academy of Osteopathy are eligible for membership with GEHA.
