02 May Meeting with founder and president of Bay University School of Medicine
I’m honored to announce that next week, I will be meeting with Dr. Mani Alagar, MBA, PhD, MD—founder and president of Bay University School of Medicine in Aruba (Netherlands)—at the York University Heights campus of the National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto. I am excited to show our campus to Dr Alagar!
Dr. Alagar played a pivotal role in establishing the world’s first DO-to-MD bridge program. Thanks to his vision, graduates of the online Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) program at the National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) now have the opportunity to earn an accredited MD degree in under two years. This MD program is recognized in the United States, Canada, Europe, and beyond, with students completing their clinical internships at hospitals in Florida.
We continue to make history—and to elevate the profession of manual osteopathy.
